Break 7/14/14

I am taking a break today.  I have been frustrated at my lack of progress.  I change my mind often and I wish I could just stick to the plan.  I live in a house with another person and I have to consider the other person.  Plus, I have difficulty eating for two people in the house as it is.  Maybe I should get some more ideas on how to plan meals.  I am a diabetic and my diet isn't for the most part healthy.  So that means that I get frustrated in the long run with the choices that I make.  Maybe that is the problem.  I don't always think about the long run.  Should I plan for a week?  Daily?  Monthly?  When and how should I plan?
